First Aid course for all childcarers, including nannies, mothers help, child minders looking after newborn, babies, toddlers and children.

First Aid Course Details

This 12 hour course covers everything that OFSTED requires from people working with children.  This course is required from everyone who works with children especially under 5’s. 

Course Contents:

• coping with an emergency in your care setting, coping with illness in your care setting, incident management, record keeping
• recovery position, medication
• resuscitation adults, Choking adults
• Bleeding, Penetrating wounds, Shock
• Choking babies and young children practice , Resuscitation babies and young children
• Dealing with bites and stings, Anaphylaxis, Asthma
• Fractures, Head and neck injuries
• Eye injuries
• Foreign objects
• Extremes of temperature
• Febrile convulsions
• Meningitis
• Epilepsy
• Poisons
• Recovery position practice
• Burns and scalds
• Electric shock
• Diabetes, Sickle cell
• Infectious illnesses

Course Certificate

Follows the guidelines from OFSTED and will lasts for 3 years
